Sidhu not to attend today’s cabinet meeting; says is on poll duty

Chandigarh – Punjab Local Bodies Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu will not be attending the cabinet meeting on Monday. The minister, in the eye of a recent controversy over the Kartarpur corridor, said, he is busy on election duty assigned by the party high command. His recent comment that only Rahul Gandhi was his captain had led to a controversy with Capt Amarinder Singh loyalists demanding his resignation as a minister.
